Some information on travel to Tutzing:
| Munich Airport International: | The best way to get comfortably and cheaply from the airport to Tutzing is by the regional railway called S-Bahn. There are two S-Bahns traveling to Munich from the airport's S-Bahn station located at the central area of terminal 1, S1 (bound for Ostbahnhof) and S8 (bound for Nannhofen). Both S-Bahn lines can be used. Departure: every 20 minutes. In Munich, passengers to Tutzing have to change at station Laim to S-Bahn S 6 which is bound for Tutzing (terminus), departure: every 20 min. Fare for single journey ticket airport - Tutzing: EUR 8,80. Return tickets are not available. The ticket can be purchased at any ticket vending machine located at the airport S-Bahn terminal or at the S-Bahn platforms. To use the vending machine, just push the orange button No. 4 (Einzelfahrkarte ab 4 Zonen) and insert EUR 8,80. Tickets are also available from the airport MVV (Munich Public Transport Authority) office and the airport newspaper shops Newspoint. Before starting travel, the ticket must be stamped by a ticket cancellation machine located at the entrance of airport S-Bahn terminal or at the platform.

| Munich Central Railway Station: | The S-Bahn S6 to Tutzing (terminus) can be used, see above. Alternatively, the DB (Deutsche Bundesbahn) express trains bound to Garmisch-Partenkirchen can be used which stop at Tutzing. Departure: every hour. For tickets see above (MVV) or DB ticket counters at the railway station.

| Evangelische Akademie at Tutzing: | The Evangelische Akademie is within 15 min walking distance from the railway station (via Bahnhofstraße, Hallberger Allee, Hauptstraße, see signs). Also taxis waiting outside the railway station can be used. |
| To travel to Tutzing by car: | Tutzing is located at the Starnberger See 40 km south of Munich. It can be reached best via the Autobahn A95 to Garmisch, exit Starnberg, and then following the signs allong the Starnberger See to Tutzing and the Evangelische Akademie |
